Disappointing booking
Negative: Wrong PIN code supplied by property, needing a phone call to the owners to get in.
No mugs or cups in the property, not enough crockery or cutlery for more than 4 people. Sparse cooking equipment. Dripping tap in kitchen.
TV not working. Extract fan in one bedroom very noisy. Window blinds in disarray. Broken chair in kitchen. Only 6 dining chairs (total) despite property claiming to be for 9.
General lack of attention and care in preparing the property. Owners notified by email of problems on Saturday evening, nothing done to fix anything by the time we left on Monday.

Positive: The review is on no reflection to the owner - just the company running the place.
We had actually met the owner outside the property on the first night and he was extremely nice and didn't realise there were no cups/glasses available. The next day he actually went shops and bought us glasses and 2 bottles of wine as an apology.
When we arrived at the house the first thing we noticed was that the carpets were very clean/new and pleasent smell.
Negative: As we started walking around to have a look at the property all blinds in all bedrooms were broken we had to fix some of them ourselves just to be able to get some privacy.
One of the single beds in the rooms was unacceptable as the springs were coming through nearly to the mattress. It was completely broken we had to make shift a bed for them to sleep.
The house was dirty it clearly hadn't been cleaned, there was a fuse on the floor, open pack of tablets in a drawer, and the TV didn't work. The WiFi code was written down wrong and took us a while to work it out.
There were no cups or glasses even tho the property is supposed to cater for up to 9 guests.
The windows were not very safe.
The tap in the kitchen leaks.
In the kitchen it stank of fish.
Most lamps in each of the rooms were broken.
Sofa was broken or not put together properly
The bedding smelt fresh but the pillows inside were stained yellow
The cleaning fee we got charged for absolutely no cleaning was disgusting. The only thing that looked clean in the property were the carpets.
