Stratton House, Long Stay Discounts Free Parking Sleeps 13

Very disappointing. Worst experience by far. Negative: The address indicated on this property isn’t the right one. 165 Stratton Road, Swindon SN1 2SH doesn’t exist. When we finally got to the right property on 165 Swindon Road, SN3 4PW after going round in circle for almost a hour, there were occupants who have been staying there for 3 weeks. And that’s when we were told by the agent that it was double booked. We were offered an alternative property which was a far cry from what we would have wanted but we had no other choice. We got to the property on Thursday Street only to find out that it wasn’t cleaned since the occupants left the place a week earlier. Beds were unmade, toilets unclean, broken glass panel on the table, dirty carpets and kitchen, rubbish bags here and there, etc…Cleaners had to rushly clean the property and we were unable to get into the property until 20:30 and got settled at 12 midnight. In addition to this, we weren’t allowed a late check out because a cleaner will arrive apparently at 10 to get the house ready for the next guests. We left the property at 10:30 and there was no cleaner. This experience ruined our bank holiday get away big time.
